Pigsty Hosts the DCT Engage “Escape the Room”

Pigsty broke the ice for the DCT Engage with an Escape the Room puzzle that pitted two teams against each other to unravel the narrative surrounding the kidnapping of a fictional colleague.

Team A

Both teams drew on their collective DCT-esque knowledge and problem solving techniques to unlock puzzles left by their colleague to hint at where their kidnapper was holding them, who the next target might be and ultimately decide the fate of all involved.

Team A

With minutes to spare both teams reached optimal resolution rescuing their colleague, warning the next target, arresting the kidnapper and escaping the room.

Observations of the event will help Pigsty to develop appropriate and engaging future staff and student play events.
